Never underestimate the power of the Power Point! I thought that maybe the Power Point is on its way out. We can use Prezy… Glogster… other fancy things.. But then I tried sentence lifting with the power point, and the response was unbelievable. These kids LOVE the screen. They read from the screen, they REMEMBER things they read from the screen. They WORK with it. Viva the screen babies and their toy, the mighty Power Point. My sentence lifting has never been better. Check out one of my paragraph exercises! Now anything I want to say, homework directions, and directions in general, even FOSS Lab, is projected on the board via Power Point. If it works..
